Pat Conover: Sharing the Journey
Two-Headed Nails

Sunny Afternoon in the Old Street by ToniVC
Two-headed nails are harder to drive
than calipers to measure acreage
of the human eyes
scanning the moment, timespinning, hoping
and collapsing, melting,
retiring to the compression of
negated black oil drums
recycled with water for the sun's rays
to renew in heat and prepare for the giving off

of warmth.
